HALLOWEEN may be over, but ghosts aren’t leaving Pokémon Go as the mobile game starts to celebrate the Day of the Dead.
Día de los Muertos is a special celebration in Mexico, to remember family and ancestors who have passed on.

It also marks a start to a new monthly cycle, which means that there are big changes ahead.

Pokémon Go’s Day of the Dead event begins on Tuesday, November 1, 2022Start at 10amLocal time
This will be a two-day event that will feature costumed Pokémon from the Duskull line.
On these two days Duskull, Duskclops, and Dusknoir can all be found in the wild wearing a cempasúchil crown of orange flowers.
You will also find double candy, as well as a challenge featuring Alolan marowak.
Giratina is back for Raid Hour at Origin Forme
This week’s raid hour will take place on Wednesday, November 2, 2022?, 6pmLocal time
Giratina in Origin Forme will be back at raid hour this week and will be available in all gyms.
It can also be found in random raids up to November 8th, and in shiny colours.
Unfortunately, Giratina will return to Altered Forme the day after it is caught, but it will be returning with Shadow Force.
Go Battle League becomes Ultra League or Willpower Cup
The Go Battle League will be changing Thursday, November 3, 2022At 8pmUK Time
Great League will no longer be part of Go Battle League. Instead, the 2.5k CP limited Ultra League will take its place.
Halloween Cup will also be gone and replaced with the Willpower Cup.
Only Fighting, Psychic, and Dark types can enter the Willpower Cup with a maximum CP limit of 1.5k.
Gardevoir is also excluded from the cup, though we’re not sure why.
Dratini is back as a Community Day Classic
On this day, community will be held Saturday, November 5, 2022From 2pmTo 5pmLocal time
Dratini will also be back as a classic return to Community Day.
Dratini will often appear in the wild and is more likely to be shiny.
Dragonair that become Dragonite during Community Day are also eligible to learn the special move Draco Meteor.
Miltank is the Go Battle Day target
Go Battle Day is a day-long event that will take place on Sunday, November 6, 2022.
Miltank can be used in Go Battle League to give you four times the Stardust per victory
There are 20 possible battle sets.
Between 11am and 2pm if you win a Pokémon encounter in the Battle League it is guaranteed to be Miltank.
This time, it will have a higher chance of being Shiny.
