When it comes to mimicry, Jeff Goldblum’s aura left room for the actor to be imitated by everyone from fellow stars to avid fans. His eccentric mannerisms, speech patterns and quirky ways have made him a household name. Jurassic World DominionStar is a charming cultural figure. Over the years, Goldblum impressions have been shared on numerous shows and interviews. It was now time to celebrate the Independence Daystar to find the one who best imitated him. Bryan Cranston was the Hollywood star. Thor co-star Tom Hiddleston’s impressions of him, and his feedback was on point.

The most striking impression is, of course, Saturday Night Live’s “Celebrity Jeopardy”Skit with David Duchovny imitating Jeff Goldblum. However, there have been many Goldblum impressions ever since that iconic sketch. That said, no one’s ever asked Golblum what he thought about all this one and other imitations. Thankfully, Vanity Fair allowed him to do so. Goldblum was able to witness his Asteroid CityBryan Cranston and his co-star Bryan Cranston make their best impression. Cranston took Cranston by surprise, remarking:

That’s good, I didn’t know he had that up his sleeve. As he said it’s intense, and he made those big eyes.

Jeff Goldblum was understandably surprised, as he didn’t know the Breaking BadStar was very attentive. As with any Goldblum interview, he couldn’t help but notice a certain aspect of Bryan Cranston’s impersonation – his saucer-like eyes. The Hotel ArtemisStar spoke out about trying to minimize his signature eye expression.

Bulgy eyes? Well, my mom had some prominent eyeballs, I’ll tell you. My socket is quite large. Too much of it was my vice early on. If there’s one thing I tried to eliminate from my behavioral color palette was the bulgy eyes. I didn’t want to be a cook-ball.

I believe that just like many Goldblum mannerisms, his eyes are part of the actor’s overall appeal. They’ve allowed him to be expressive in countless scenes throughout his career. A good movie is always available. “Jeff Goldblum staring off in wonderment” moment. After seeing Cranston’s take, the Jurassic ParkStar had the opportunity to meet his Thor: RagnarokCo-star Tom Hiddleston does his impression with a twist. This is what Goldblum had a to say about it:

Excellent. He’s a master artist and a master craftsperson, a master impressionist. It’s a variation of what David Duchovny did. Can’t find a word, there’s a word I’m looking for, but can’t. He makes interstitial noises to keep himself going. And then he’s doing something I haven’t seen in any of the things. It wasn’t part of “The Fly”, it wasn’t but it could have been. Perhaps it captures the essence a previous body of work.

Tom Hiddleston was my favorite performer, performing his act right in front Goldblum. I think the Hiddleston/Goldblum example showed confidence. Jeff Goldblum was my third-party collaborator. ThorFilm, the Lokistar admired his star and studied him. It could’ve gone completely sideways had Goldblum not been tickled by it. He knows that his uniqueness and mannerisms make him a great person for imitation.

Jeff Goldblum will be the source for new imitations as he has several projects in the works, including Jurassic World Dominion. Jeff Goldblum will be appearing in the Fallen Kingdomsequel on June 10, as also the Thor: Love and ThunderBoth movies will be available in theaters on July 8th.
