England v Sweden – The best reactions to Sweden’s 4-0 win by the Lionesses to reach Euro 2022 final

England’s Lionesses have reached their first final for 13 years. They’ve also absolutely cruised to it, crushing an otherwise formidable Sweden team by four goals to none.

Despite a slow start that saw Sweden score within the first few minutes of play, England under Sarina Wiegman (the Dutch manager) were incredible and scored some truly amazing goals.

After facing a storm from Sweden’s attack, England’s Beth Mead scored the opening goal. It was 1-0 at halftime. England seemed to feel reenergized after the break, and they came out firing with the help of Lucy Bronze who scored a header shortly after the break.

AlessiaRusso scored the third goal of the evening. Her cheeky backheel smashed through Hedvig Lindhl’s legs and was the highlight.

Lindahl’s fourth goal was almost as bad as Fran Kirby’s kick from outside the box.

England fans were, naturally, thrilled with the result.

It’s not all jokes.

England will now face France or Germany in Sunday’s final at Wembley.
