Amazon offers thousands of hours of content for Fire TV

With streaming services increasing in cost and launch, more viewers are turning to ad-supported streamers for their entertainment. The Roku Channel, Tubi, Pluto TV, and others offer thousands of hours’ worth of classic and modern TV, movies, and more free of charge. Amazon now offers a wide range of new and improved products. Amazon releases new content for Fire TV

This isn’t quite as significant an offering as Tubi or Pluto TV, but Fire TV users will now have access to “thousands of hours of free, ad-supported videos and live content”You can access it right from your home screen. Here’s everything that Amazon is adding to Fire TV:

  • Sports News & HighlightsNBC Sports, FOX Sports, MLB – Get the latest highlights, news, analysis, and commentary on your favorite sports and athletes. You can also enjoy coverage on CBS Sports HQ and Sports Illustrated as well as Sportswire, Stadium, ACC Digital Networks, and PAC-12 Networks.
  • The Latest Trailers: Watch trending TV and movie trailers from IMDb, the world’s most popular source for information on movies, TV shows, and celebrities to help entertainment fans decide what to watch.
  • Food & Cooking: Watch cooking shows, kitchen hacks, quick tips, and food travel series from America’s Test Kitchen, GoTraveler (content from Anthony Bourdain, Rick Bayless, and others), and 5-Minute Recipes. Gusto TV and Martha Stewart are coming soon.

The new content can be found in designated rows on the Home or Free tabs. The Sports screen also features highlights from sports. To start playing, select a content tile. You don’t have to download or sign up for anything to access the free content.
