J.K. Simmons will be reprising his role in December as Daily Bugle editor J. Jonah Jameson “Spider-Man: No Way Home,”But he won’t be the Jameson fan that Tobey Maguire made famous in his Spidey trilogy.

This is the look that the actor initially questioned when he was asked if he would return to the role at the end 2019 as a secret cameo. “Spider-Man: Far From Home” before joining “No Way Home.”

Simmons joins Jamie Foxx and Alfred Molina in reprising their roles from Sony’s Other. “Spider-Man”Movies to collide in the new film with Tom Holland’s Peter Parker version.

In the film, which will be out next month. Peter tries to get Doctor Strange cast a spell that would make everyone forget he is Spider-Man. The spell goes wrong and Peter is able to see characters from other Spider-Man films.

Simmons will likely play a multiverse Jameson. “No Way Home”He exists in Tom Holland’s Spidey universe but is slightly different than his Tobey Maguire character. You can be sure that Jameson, the top-cut, is still in Sony’s SpiderVerse. Perhaps we will even see him.

Simmons said that he didn’t think Jameson would be seen in the sequel. 

“As is appropriate for that character, he’s just a little kind of comic relief thing that gets sprinkled lightly into the movie,”Simmons spoke highly about his character.
