The magic scroll from Disenchanted

In the early moments of the film, James Marsden’s Edward and Idina Menzel’s Nancy – now the king and queen of Andalasia – pay a visit to Giselle and Robert’s new home and gift to them an Andalasian Wand of Wishes to help bring some magic to their lives.

Giselle uses the magic wand in her quiet suburban community to create a fairy tale world complete with talking animals.

But the spell has unexpected consequences as Giselle starts to become an evil stepmother to Robert’s teenage daughter Morgan.

Giselle, in an effort to stop her descent towards evil, belatedly consults a magical scroll that contains the rules for the use of the wand.

Giselle is warned by the scroll to reverse the spell before midnight. Otherwise, its effects will be permanent.
