Enola, the younger sister to Sherlock Holmes’ respected detective Sherlock Holmes (played by Henry Cavill), is eager to tackle her own cases. Business isn’t booming, however, as an inexperienced female investigator. When she’s about to close shop, Enola’s luck strikes when a penniless matchstick girl offers her first official job.

Abbie was born February 9, 1997 in Cardiff, Wales. Natalie, her mother, is close to Abbie and has frequently appeared on her social networks.

Her legal name was previously Abbie Louise Davies, after her mother’s maiden name. She changed it to her stepfather’s surname, Hern, in 2017, since he has always been a father figure to her.

Before breaking into Hollywood, Abbie, 25, studied acting at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama.

Hern’s first professional credit dates back to 2020 in one episode of The Twilight Zone, which is based on the original horror series of the same name by Rod Serling.

“I spent hours actually making the matches,” she . “It felt so real, and you’d think it sounds quite boring making matches, but I got so into it. I loved it. By the end of it, I started to think I had a calling in matchmaking!”
