Who is this week on Michael McIntyre’s The Wheel?

Tomorrow night, at 6pm, on BBC One, comedian Michael McIntyre will be back with his game show The Wheel.

Three members of the public will appear in each episode and will try to answer questions – with the help of celebrity experts – to reach the show’s prize.

However, it is entirely up to luck if each contestant makes it on the show.

Now we can reveal the star lineup for this week and who will be appearing on The Wheel.

Ed Balls

Ed Balls was once Labour’s shadow chancellor, and MP.

He then switched the House of Commons for TV appearances when he signed up for Strictly Come Dancing.

Ed has been a TV celebrity since then. He can often be seen appearing on news and panel shows.

Clara Amfo

Clara Amfo got her start in showbiz as a presenter on Nickelodeon, and by entering a contestant in the BBC Talent competition landed a job at CBBC.

She began her radio career with Kiss FM in London where she hosted the overnight show.

Clara’s big break came at Radio 1, where she hosted their mid-morning program – now, she hosts the Live Lounge.

Clara participated in Strictly Come Dancing 2020.

Ally McCoist

Ally McCoist is a former striker is a Rangers hero, spending 15 years with the Glasgow giants between 1983 and 1998.

He played 418 games for Rangers in his time at Ibrox.

Between 2011 and 2014, he managed the Glasgow club for three years. He helped the club achieve successive promotions to the Scottish fourth- and third divisions.In 2012, the club was liquidated.

Sindhu Vee

Sindhu Vee is an actor and comedian best known for his panel shows.

She began performing in 2012, and has since performed on stages in the UK, India and the USA.

Sindhu is well-known in the comedy circuit and has been to the Edinburgh Fringe numerous times.

She’s appeared on Mock The Week and Have I Got News For You.

Dan Walker

Dan Walker is perhaps best known as the BBC Breakfast news anchor.

He switched broadcasters in May 2022 and is now on Channel 5 news.

He was also a dancer for Strictly in 2021.

Stacey Dooley

Stacey Dooley was another Strictly Star on The Wheel, who won the 2018 show.

Her powerful BBC documentaries are what made her a household name.

She is also well-known for her high-profile affair with Kevin Clifton (ex-Strictly)

John Whaite

John Whaite, last but not the least.

He has performed on the dancefloor in 2021, just like the rest in The Wheel’s lineup (except for Sindhu Vee).

Apart from Strictly, he is most famous for being on Bake Off.

He has since become a celebrity chef and is a regular guest on Steph’s Packed Lunch.

Amongst appearing on numerous TV shows and touring, comedian Michael McIntyre has presented several of his own shows.

In June 2009, he hosted Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow. This show aired every Saturday on BBC One.

He was a huge success and he went on to host The Michael McIntyre Chat Show 2014, which featured a Christmas special. He returned to the BBC in 2015 to host Michael McIntyre’s Big Christmas Show.

Since 2016, Michael has presented Michael McIntyre’s Big Show on the channel before he began trying his hand at game shows.
