Where was Alba shot?

Alba was entirely filmed in Spain, within Alicante Province and the Community of Madrid.

The series was shot in principle in June 2020. Filming took place for six months, before filming wrapped in December.

Season 1 of Alba was shot during the pandemic. The production team followed strict protocols while filming.

Filming locations for Province of Alicante

The Valencian Community’s Province of Alicante hosted a majority of the series, with many backdrops used to film, including the Bol Nou Beach in Villajoyosa.

Important scenes were also shot at Serra Gelada, the nature park, and the municipality Finestrat within the comarca Marina Baixa.

The series also featured the historic Community of Madrid, which is home to many tourist spots.

The series premiered for the first time on Atresplayer Premium, in March 2021. After that, it was available on Netflix last Wednesday.
