Abandoned is a psychological thriller that will entice viewers.

Directed by Spencer Squire, the film tells the story of a couple – Sara (Emma Roberts) and Alex (John Gallagher Jr) – who move into a remote farmhouse with their young son. However, Sara’s struggle with postpartum psychosis spells something sinister for the family.

Where can I stream Abandoned?

You can rent the 2022 movie Abandoned on platforms such as Amazon Video and YouTube.

It isn’t currently available on Netflix but is available to rent on the above platforms for a low price. Below are the rental rates for each option.

‘I couldn’t stop thinking about it’

Assemble with Pop-CulturalistEmma recently shared her thoughts about what was most important to her in relation to the project at its earliest stages.

“When I read Abandoned, I couldn’t stop thinking about it. Even just the title, I was very intrigued by the setup of this couple with their new baby moving into a farmhouse where weird things start happening. I’ve heard a version of this before, but this was done in such a fresh, exciting way.”

She also added: “You think you know where it’s going, but you absolutely don’t. It made me really excited to take the bones of a story that we all know and love and take it to a new level.”
