In a recent interview with Netflix’s Tudum, Sex Education’s creator Laurie Nunn The statement is repeated by saying the upcoming season is “the end as we know it.”

Speaking about coming to that decision, Nunn said: “During that [the writing] The process made it very obvious that the story was coming to an ending. The characters had been left at a point where I felt great about. I felt happy for them, and I felt like I’ve said everything that I want to say with these characters at this time.”

Laurie Nunn gave fans some hope in a subsequent interview by suggesting we might not have seen Moordale’s crew for the last time.

When asked if we might get to revisit Sex Education again, Nunn said: “I’m definitely taking a break and thinking about other things.

“But Moordale is a really rich world, and writing about teenagers is always a lot of fun.

“So, I think that there’s always potential for more to be explored in that world.”

The Sex Education Season 4 Plot Preview

Season 4 is important to discuss before we bid farewell to Eric, Otis and Maeve, as well as the other cast members of Sex Education.

After the closing of Moordale Secondary School at the end season 3, Otis, the gang and their friends now have a brand new adventure as they start life at Cavendish Sixth Form College.

Their new environment is a huge culture shock for the Moordale students as their new school is far more open and progressive than what they’re used to – there’s daily yoga in the communal garden, a strong sustainability drive and a group of kids who are popular for being kind rather than a mean girl clique.

Otis is particularly affected by the move, not only is he pining after Maeve – who is studying in America – he is no longer the only child at home and he’s not the only therapist on campus anymore.
