Ted Cruz made a strong entrance at Turning Point USA’s Student Action Summit this Week, but it wasn’t received as he had hoped.

A clip of the Texas senator, played from a Fox News interview, was shown on the big screen before he appeared on stage in Tampa. He criticized President Joe Biden.

However, the show didn’t end there. The smoke machines were on full display as Cruz made his way to the stage. Some viewers may have mistaken Cruz’s entrance for a WWE ringside walk.
The fanfare made the entrance viral. Aaron Rupar shared it on Twitter and he tweeted: “Conservative conferences are beyond a parody.”
This video has been viewed over 1,000,000 times, with 17,000 likes.
Others agreed and started to laugh at the ridiculousness of the politician’s big entrance.
Another example was the dystopian movie series The Hunger Games Caesar Flickerman (Stanley Tucci), the host of the games, also gets a dramatic introduction.

Some people were not impressed with politicians’ entrances “like rock stars.”
“This is why comedy moves don’t exist anymore… you can’t parody this,” Jason Wise tweeted.

Cruz did not seem to be bothered by the parody description. He tweeted Rupar and just added a shrugging of shoulders emoji.
Cruz got a standing ovation when he mocked progressives for using pronouns in his speech. “‘My preferred pronouns are ‘kiss my a**.'”
Cruz mocked Alexandria Ocasio Cortez’s arrest at a prochoice abortion protest against Roe v Wade’s Supreme Court decision.
Cruz added: “It’s gotten so bad AOC can’t afford fake handcuffs.”
AOC denies that she feigned being handcuffed. Tweet: “Putting your hands behind your back is a best practice while detained.”
