Oban is a great option for wildlife lovers looking to holiday in a beautiful place.
The seaside town of West Scotland offers many opportunities to spot animals and is home to some rare UK wildlife, researchers say.
“You might be lucky enough to see basking sharks, dolphins, or even whales on one of the town’s ocean safari boat tours,” They added.
You can also spot seals and porpoises while you are visiting the coast town.
Buxton, which is a spa town at the Peak District’s edge was third.
