A husband brutally cut his wife’s body into more than 200 pieces and then enlisted a friend to help him dump her remains. Nicholas Metson, 28, stabbed 26-year-old Holly Bramley at least four times before dismembering her and storing her body parts in their flat’s larder for a week.
Disturbing Details
The Lincoln crown court revealed that Metson tried to conceal the crime with cleaning products, and then paid Joshua Hancock £50 to assist with a “job.” Some of Holly’s remains were discovered in the River Witham in Bassingham, Lincs. Shockingly, Metson had been searching online for “How to get rid of a dead body” and “What benefits can I get if my wife dies.”
Admission of Guilt
Metson eventually confessed to the murder, while Holly’s grieving family denounced him as an “evil monster.” Hancock, also 28, from Waddington, admitted to aiding in disposing of the body. The sentencing for both men is scheduled for Monday.
