Ruby Franke and Kevin Franke launched their 8 Passengers YouTube channel, which allowed social media users to learn more about the Franke Family. Content was centered on the Franke family’s daily life, and husband and wife were responsible for their six children. Recently, viewers began to notice some odd behavior and this sparked concerns for the family.

Ruby’s arrest was confirmed on August 31. She was being held under suspicion for two counts of child abuse. Jodi Hildebrandt, her business partner was arrested under the same allegations.

The juvenile was said to be “emaciated and malnourished, with open wounds and duct tape around the extremities.”
Officers were led to a home in the area where they found another juvenile who was also suffering from a similar problem. The other child was taken to hospital. After a home search, the Department of Child and Family Services took in four other minors. Ruby and Jodi have been arrested for the incident. The two are still being held.
Shari Franke opens up about ‘justice being served’
Shari, who is the oldest daughter of Ruby and Kevin Franke, broke her silence on Instagram and spoke about ‘justice being served.’
Sharing a picture of a police vehicle, Shari wrote “Finally.” In another post, she wrote: “Today has been a big day. We are all so glad that justice was served. We’ve been trying to tell the police and CPS for years about this, and so glad they finally decided to step up.”
She continued: “Kids are safe, but there’s a long road ahead. Please keep them in your prayers and also respect their privacy.” She also requested her followers to send any videos they might have of problematic behavior noticed in any of the 8 Passengers or ConneXions’ content.
Ruby Franke’s been the target of backlash in the past
Ruby got into trouble in the past when she made a post on Facebook claiming that she would refuse to take a lunch for her six-year-old child after he had forgotten it.
