An anonymous employee stated that the hot chocolate and coffee were both excellent, especially the coffee.
“The coffee is proper filter stuff. I’d drink it.”
However, for those who love a sweet treat with their brews, staff rates them at the bottom of this pile, in particular Twixes.
They said, “Honestly, the cost of a bar chocolate onboard.”
“It’s £2.25 for a Twix. I wouldn’t go for that. I would bring my own with me.”
Ryanair has almost tripled the price of a 75g Tesco chocolate bar.
A second employee cautioned holidaymakers who were expecting to be fed on evening flights against relying on the airline.
They said, “A few weeks back I flew in the evening.”
“Ryanair stocks a bar in the morning and so on, you will always have enough.
“The bar was empty at the time I boarded. It was five hours flight to Tenerife.
“I spoke with this woman, she asked for food for her children, and I apologized. I told her that there is no food and there was nothing I could do.
“But for her it became my fault. She said I’m ‘useless’, it’s ‘my fault’ her kids are going to starve tonight. I ‘should be ashamed’.”
