Katy Perry gave us a taste of PlayStudio 8H’s new Las Vegas concert residency, titled.
Perry danced and swiveled on a set adorned with tall, colorful mushrooms. Perry will be back in 2022 on her bullshit.
Her first song was “When I’m Gone,”A new, vibrant, electro-pop confection was co-written by Alesso and the Swedish DJ. But the focus quickly shifted to Perry’s backup dancers, jigging in line behind her dressed as giant phallic toadstools, occasionally flashing Alice in WonderlandSigns with a “-esque” design “Eat Me.”
For a slow, more plaintive version of her 2019 hit, the pop singer returned to the stage wearing a puffy, powder blue skirt. “Never Really Over.” The dancing phalluses took a break for this portion, leaving all the attention to Perry’s powerhouse voice.
