John Mulaney To Join Five-Timers Club In February

John Mulaney will be joining the Five Timers Club Saturday Night LiveHe returns as the host on February 26. The Kid GorgeousAs the late-night comedian returns to its shows, LCD Soundsystem will join him.

Mulaney’s past couple of years have been filled with many events, including a drug relapse and intervention, rehab, and a brief stint as a writer. Late Night with Seth MeyersA newborn baby and me (recently seen with). ‘Uncle’Pete Davidson and Olivia Munn, Olivia’s new girlfriend.

Mulaney was a writer for four-years. SNLShe occasionally appears on Weekend Update, and she co-creates the character Stefon together with Bill Hader.

He is the latest Five-Timers Club member, which also includes Alec Baldwin, Steve Martin and John Goodman. Drew Barrymore was the previous member of the club. Scarlett Johansson was the last member.

Mulaney’s previous four host gigs have come over a relatively short space of time; he first hosted in April 2018, then again in March 2019 before fronting one show just before the Covid-19 pandemic caused havoc for production in February 2020 and returning in October 2020.

He is also the fourth SNL writer – after Conan O’Brien, Louis CK and Larry David – to host the show despite never having been an official cast member.

James Murphy’s electro-punks, meanwhile previously appeared on the show in 2017.
