REinvent Intl. Boards Trine Piil’s Nothing Based On Danish Bestseller

REinvent International Sales has boarded Trine Piil’s next film “Nothing,”Based on a true story of coming-of age, this thriller is about
Danish author Janne Teller’s bestselling novel by the same name.

“Nothing”It was published in over 30 countries and has sold more than 1.5 million copies worldwide. This includes 500.000 copies in Germany. The story will be about Pierre Anthon, a young boy who just entered 8th grade. Pierre decides one day to quit school and climbs up a tree. He declares that life is meaningless. His classmates are shaken by Pierre’s decision and start gathering their most valuable belongings in a “heap of meaning”Pierre will soon be convinced. However, Pierre will soon be convinced that his innocent offering has become a spiral of psychological violence in which children test their limits and make increasingly painful sacrifices.

Piil co-wrote the adaptation with Seamus McNally, an American director/acting coach.
