Although there haven’t been many shows that highlight the American teaching experience, the ABC comedy hit the spot. Abbott ElementaryThis has put a spotlight on real issues that public school teachers deal with every day. That was part of creator and star Quinta Brunson’s plan to highlight the struggle. Brunson wasn’t just about bringing attention to teachers but helping them in real life.
Viewers can watch Janine and her faculty and staff weekly. Abbott ElementaryWithout funding, it is difficult to make things work. Brunson was the daughter of an educator in public schools and understood the financial problems teachers face every day. Her mother gave her everything, even though she was underpaid and not well-resourced.

We chose to spend the marketing money on supplies for teachers. It’s about being capable of making those decisions that excite me and that can actually materially help others.

While she pointed out that the Abbott faculty cares a lot more about their job than the Dunder Mifflin staff and shot down Janine, Gregory as Pam and Jim.
