Prince William Denies Question about Whether He Supports Prince Andrew

Video of Prince William avoiding questions by a reporter asking whether he supports Prince Andrew during his sexual-assault civil trial. The video was taken on Wednesday at London’s Foundling Museum.

Buckingham Palace announced that Andrew was stripped of his honorary military titles, patronages and title and would now face a sexual assault lawsuit as a private citizen. Andrew has denied all claims.

Twitter shared the 18-second William clip. Chris Ship is ITV’s royal EditorHe and Kate Middleton are seen getting dressed for the departure. “Your Royal Highness, can I just ask, do you support Prince Andrew?”

39-year-old Duke Of Cambridge appears to not have heard the question and replies. “Sorry, I can’t hear you.”The reporter asks again the same question, and then follows up with another one asking if he’s spoken to his uncle in recent weeks.

William, who was not able to respond to the question, quickly exits the building with the Duchess and Cambridge. Insider reached out to Kensington Palace and ITV representatives for comment but they did not respond immediately.

He isn’t alone in being asked recently about his relationship to Prince Andrew.

One day after Buckingham Palace announced the news, a video was released showing Prince Charles being asked by James Matthews (Sky News’ Scotland bureau chief) to discuss his views about Andrew’s decision to remove his titles and royal patronages. He was walking in Aberdeenshire.

The prince chose not to answer the question and continued walking to greet people.

After Andrew’s legal team filed a motion to dismiss the civil sexual-assault case, Buckingham Palace made the decision. Virginia Giuffre was firedThe Independent reported that Lewis A. Kaplan, US District Judge, was quoted as saying so on January 12, 2012.

Giuffre filed the suit in August against Prince Andrew for sexual assault. Jeffrey Epstein, she claims, forced her to have sex at his New York home, in London, as well as on Epstein’s private island in US Virgin Islands. It was 2001 when she was 17.
