Pennsylvania Woman Rescued from Mt. Washington Hillside

After falling down a part of Mt. Washington hillside

According to Pittsburgh Public Safety officials: The woman was riding on East Sycamore Street, when her brakes failed, and she hit the median. This propelled her up the hillside. According toCBS News.

The bicyclist was stuck in her location 20 feet down before first responders could get to her, CBS News reported.

After placing the woman on a backboard, firefighters and EMS were able to save her. reported TribLive.

TribLive reported that first responders stated that the woman was conscious during rescue but had sustained an injury to her leg and several other injuries.

TribLive reported that she was transported to the hospital, where she was later listed as being in stable but serious condition.
