EXCLUSIVE:Pamela Adlon’s untitled pregnancy comedy has rounded out its cast with John Carroll Lynch, Hasan Minhaj, Stephen James, Oliver Platt, the Lucas Brothers and Sandra Bernhard joining the already announced Ilana Glazer and Michelle Buteau.
Adlon, the director of many episodes on her Emmy-nominated FX show, was also a part of this series. Better Things, will be making her feature-film director’s debut with FilmNation Entertainment and Range Media Partners pic. It is currently in production at New York City.
Glazer and Josh Rabinowitz wrote the story. It follows Eden (Glazer), an aggressively single woman who, after getting pregnant by a one-night stand, turns to Dawn (Buteau), her married best friend, and mother of two, to help her through pregnancy and beyond.
Glazer also produces via her Starrpix banner. Ashley Fox is producing for FilmNation Entertainment. Susie Fox and Rabinowitz also produce. FilmNation, Range and CAA Media Finance manage U.S. Sales, while FilmNation reps international.
