ONLY Fools And Horses star John Challis has died at the age of 79 following a long battle with cancer, his family has said.
The actor, best known for playing second-hand car dealer Boycie, died “peacefully in his sleep”.

A statement from the family of John Challis, best known for playing second-hand car dealer Boycie in Only Fools And Horses, said: “It is with heavy hearts that we bring you such sad news.
After a long fight with cancer, John Challis was able to pass away in his sleep.
He will be remembered for his ‘Boycie,’ and will be missed by many. His great work will continue to bring joy and smiles for many more years.
“Please respect the privacy of John’s family and friends at this difficult time, and be assured that in the future there will be an occasion to celebrate John’s life – when everyone will be welcome to come along.”
