Senator Robert Menendez vowed to fight the indictment against him and his wife Nadine. The couple is accused of accepting gold bars and $480,000 in cash, found stuffed in his jackets, in exchange for political favors. In a statement Senator Menendez says the money found was actually funds he withdrew from his own bank account. Now some of his fellow Democrats are calling on Menendez to resign.
