Namor is the villain in Wakanda Forever. Tenoch Huerta explains

We’re two weeks away from the premiere of Wakanda Forever: Black PantherThis will have significant implications for the rest the MCU. We’ll see the new Black Panther and meet the MCU’s replacement for Iron Man. Moreover, we’ll meet another confirmed mutant, Namor (Tenoch Huerta), who appears to be the villain of Wakanda Forever.

Marvel’s trailers and commercials all tell the same story. The Black PantherWe are not sure what triggers the sequel, but it will be a fight between Wakanda & Namor. We should expect to see the new Marvel villain character.

Namor, however, is he really the baddie of all? Wakanda Forever? Tenoch Huerta addressed the question during this week’s red carpet premiere. Below are some possible spoilers.

Marvel took its sweet time in confirming that Huerta will be playing Namor. Wakanda Forever. All the Black Panther 2Clips showed him as the main antagonist in this movie. The first trailer made it clear that he was going to war against Wakanda.

That’s enough to think of him as the film’s big villain, even though we don’t know his backstory. It doesn’t matter what his backstory is. Captain America Civil War is the first MCU movie you see, you’ll see all sorts of villains. For some, it might be Steve Rogers (Chris Evans). Or Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.). Depending on which side you are on in the Sokovia Accords argument.

Namor is a more complex case. Although this mutant has been around for many years in the MCU, he never appeared in the past. Wakanda ForeverYou will have to give a reason for this. Because if Namor is not the film’s main villain, then he might turn out to be a superhero that could help the Avengers in future adventures.

Who is the real? Wakanda Forever villain?

What’s certain for the time being is that Marvel wants the audience to believe that Namor is the bad guy that the new Black Panther will have to fight. Again, I’ll remind you that various Avengers fought between themselves before becoming friendly.

Huerta Explained To Variety this week that Namor isn’t a villain. He’s just a guy looking to protect his people:

This man is an example of a man who defends his people, culture, and all that is valuable in his kingdom. My view is that everyone in the world can identify this. So I don’t know if he’s a ‘villain’Or is he just trying to protect his family at all costs?

You don’t know anyone else who would protect their people. “whatever it takes?”The Avengers.

Huerta is another example. ExpandedNamor and the concept of relatability within the MCU

It’s important for the people to see themselves in the movies in this way. It was made with respect for Mesoamerican culture and Mayan culture in mind. It’s the root of almost everybody Latin American. There are many roots to Latin America. We have some black roots and some white roots. But it’s fantastic to be here and represent this kind of movie.

Put differently, most people wouldn’t necessarily identify with villains from movies. However, they would be able to understand the subtle nuances of good and evil.

Let’s remember that MCU fans easily understood Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan) and where he was coming from. Marvel had to kill him. Black PantherSo soon, anti-hero/villain

The big Black Panther 2A villain twist

Huerta made similar comments before asking us to question whether Namor was a true villain or an antihero character.

With that in mind, there’s another big Wakanda ForeverIt is important to be aware of plot details. According to rumours, Marvel would like Doctor Doom to be in the movie Black Panther 2The credits scenes would have revealed the villainous nature of the events that sparked Namor vs. Black Panther.

Newer reports say that’s no longer on the table. This was the only credits scene in the film that critics had seen earlier this week. It also didn’t feature Doctor Doom.

The true identity of the Wakanda Forever main villain doesn’t even have to be explored in this episode. Marvel could reveal it in future MCU adventures.
