2021 Miss USA was the crowned winner during the ceremony Elle SmithHer reign was over when she gracefully passed the crown down. Elle posted a message yesterday with a photograph of last year’s crowning and reflections on her time with it.
“The moment that changed my life forever,”Elle wrote about Instagram October 2. “Class of 2021, I hope I made you proud.”
Now, the sparkling piece is in the hands of R’Bonney—a fashion designer with plenty to be learned about her.
R’Bonney was the first Asian American woman to win the Miss Texas USA title. ABC News. She was also the first Filipina American to hold this title.
