Minnesota Woman Killed After Turning Down Coworker’s Advances: Police

According to police, a Minnesota woman was fatally injured in her work parking lot after she rejected a colleague’s advances.

Police claim they were able, based on witness testimony at the scene, to identify a suspect and then located Michael Jordan Carpenter (36 years old) in a neighboring community and took him into custody.

“Words cannot describe the pain and hurt I have been feeling these last 2 days. Nicole Hammond, you were such a beautiful, smart, determined young woman. You deserved to live your best life but instead got your life taken from you,”Townley.

Carpenter was arrested for second-degree murder in connection to the death Hammond. According to court documents, he is scheduled to appear in court on November 8.

Inside Edition Digital reached the clerk’s office to learn that Carpenter had not yet entered a plea.
