Preston Mitchum, a cast member who is well-known to fans of the show, has a lot to offer.

Preston D. Mitchum’s website describes him as “an unapologetically Black and queer civil rights advocate, public speaker, writer, and professor hailing from Ohio and residing in the nation’s capital.”

Preston has said in previous interviews that Malcolm X inspired him as a child. The activist taught Preston to seek the truth, question systems, and be a critical thinker.

Preston attended Trotwood Madison High School, in Trotwood. He was an outstanding student there until 2004. Preston’s thirst for knowledge did not stop at Trotwood-Madison High School. After graduating from Kent State University with a degree in Political Science, he continued his quest for knowledge.

We must not overlook his epic focus on policy. How about setting the standard high? Preston’s love of learning and dedication to the written word has made him the formidable force he is now. He can leave an impact with his persuasive arguments, speeches or advocacy for causes.

Preston went on to study law at the North Carolina Central University School of Law, with his thirst for knowledge and desire. In the beginning, Preston absorbed all of his knowledge and passed every law school exam with flying colors. In 2011, he graduated with a Juris Doctor after many years of hard work and dedication.

The Washington College of Law of American University is where Preston earned his master’s degree. He focused on civil and constitutional rights with sub-focus gender and the law. Preston is an advocate for LGBTQ+ issues.

Preston, who has also worked as a lawyer, is said to be in a long-term relationship with Donald. They have been together continuously since November 2020, and Donald’s posts of love are often featured in Preston’s feed on social media.
