Macaulay Culkin says he wishes he’d joined WWE - but not as a wrestler

Macaulay Culkin, who was just 10 years old when Home Alone was first released in 1990, was a familiar face in Hollywood.

Culkin also appears in various TV shows, even though he retired from acting between 1994-2003. He has an impressive resume as actor.

Culkin did, however, wish he had chosen a different career – that of a wrestler.

Culkin has admitted to regretting not taking up a job with WWE when he had the opportunity.

Culkin’s wish to be part of the WWE doesn’t involve him knocking anyone out as a wrestler, instead he was interested in writing for the company.

Culkin, who just had his first child in April 2021 and was reunited with Brenda Song, spoke out about his regrets on a recent episode of The. Wrestling With FreddiePodcast with Freddie Prinze Jr.

Now that he’s a dad, Culkin said he wished he had taken some time to work in WWE when had had the time, saying he wanted to “just find six months of [his] life at the very least to just kinda go in there and stuff.”

“I will say I kind of regret not [writing for WWE] – now that I’m a dad I barely have time to pee at this point, you know what I mean? I just never got around to it, there was always something.”

Although it seems as though Culkin might currently be stretched for time with his new baby daughter, Prinze Jr., who previously worked as a writer on SmackDown, suggested there may be the opportunity for Culkin to dive into the world of wrestling as Prinze Jr. has thought about starting his own wrestling brand.

Prinze Jr. told TVInsider, “I was talking to Ariel Helwani about a two-year plan I had. I might have a partner in crime with one of my guests, Macaulay Culkin, who has a passion for it as well.”
