Julian Lennon sells NFTs from Beatles History, and Keeps Actual Items

Julian Lennon is eager to discover how heated the NFT and rock market are. A new auction will feature Beatles and John Lennon memorabilia that he owns and has been made into tokens. The Lennon Connection: On February 7, the NFT Collection sale will be online. Julien’s Auctions.

You can also purchase the black cape John Lennon wore to church in Help! and Paul McCartney’s handwritten notes for “Hey Jude”Original title “Hey Jules,”McCartney composed the song for Julian Lenon after John and Cynthia divorced. Potential bidders should keep in mind, though, that the items up for sale are only those one-of-one blockchain tokens — the actual coat, McCartney’s actual notes, and all the other actual items are not for sale and will remain in Julian Lennon’s possession.

Additionally, the sale includes NFTs of John’s Afghan coat from Magical Mystery TourJohn’s three Gibson guitars were given to his son as a gift, along with NFTs. The prices are “Hey Jude”NFT is expected fetch the highest price with an estimate of $50,000-$70,000. Clothing item NFTs may go for $8,000-$20,000, while NFTs for clothing items could go for $8,000-$20,000. The three guitar NFTs are expected to sell for $6,000–$8,000. A portion will be donated to White Feather Foundation.

How much will you make from this sale if you spend several thousand dollars? The NFTs included images of the items as well as an audio clip that Julian shared with the audience about a personal connection to the item. So while you may not get to play John Lennon’s guitar or wear his cool Help! Cape, the winner will receive to “share in that exclusivity of Lennon history as the sole owner of the NFT” (per the Julien’s Auctions website).
