JILL Duggar went against her father Jim Bob’s strict rules by purchasing spooky Halloween decorates despite her family declaring the holiday as evil.

Jill, 30, filmed her youngest child sitting in the cart while the two picked out Halloween and Fall decor.

Some of her finds included scarecrows and wicker baskets as well as a horse costume for the toddler.

The former TV personality captured a pic of her filled cart alongside her son holding his costume, and wrote: “Found so many great things! Can’t wait to decorate!”

“Sam is so excited about his horsey costume,” she added.

Jill also recorded the trip to Lowe’s for bales.

After returning home, she snapped a picture of her trunk full of bales of straw before clearing it out.

Duggar-lovers may be surprised by her purchases. Many family members dislike Halloween because of their religion.

SATANTIC ORIGINS

Back in 2011, Jill’s mother Michelle Duggar wrote in a now-deleted post: “While we do go to pumpkin patches and corn mazes, we don’t do the Halloween thing.

“From the beginning of our marriage, we just kind of felt like we didn’t want to celebrate that holiday. We enjoy the harvest celebration.

“Our church fellowship has had different celebrations through the years that we’ve been a part of, ones where the children can play games and receive candy and toys and do all kinds of fun things, like a cake walk.”

Last year, Jill’s brother-in-law Jeremy Vuolo admitted that he did not care for the ghostly holiday either while speaking on the family podcast with his wife, Jinger Duggar.

‘DISTURBING’

When a fan asked if they celebrated Halloween, Jeremy said “yes and no.”

He continued: “Here’s a way to think about it, a lot of us see certain holidays as a social construct where if you grow up and your idea of Halloween is having your friends over, going trick and treating around your neighborhood, have fun and laugh with your parents, and you get to dress up… as far as that goes, then today Christians can enjoy it.”

But he added: “If you study the origins of Halloween, you’ll find very disturbing origins and what some people chose to do on Halloween is disturbing.

“But you can do that with anything – you can take Christmas back, and find Pagan origins there, or even Easter.”

Jeremy said, “To the pure all things are pure.

“Societially, we give candy out to kids and dress up, that is objectively harmless.. but if you begin to find your family is bringing in a darkness, or kids are starting to be influenced by the Satanic origins of the holiday, then you can evaluate it on a deeper level.”

Jinger added her own opinion, sharing that she felt all that “really matters” is being able to answer the question: “Is this something I can participate in with a clean conscious?”

HOLIDAY SPIRIT

However, Jim Bob’s niece, Amy Duggar seemed to have the opposite viewpoint as the rest of the Duggar clan when she shared a photo of her and her son donned in costumes last Halloween.

The Counting On alum took toInstagramto share photos of her costume with her fans as her son, Daxton, joined the fun.

She captioned it: “Officer cutie reporting for duty.”

In the snaps, the 34-year-old rocked black and white jail attire as she smiled alongside Daxton, whom she shares with her husband, Dillion.

The pictures were loved by fans who took to the comments to comment.

One person wrote: “Love the creativity and fun you can see in this pic,” while another added, “Such cute costumes!”

Both Jill and Amy have been continuously deviating from their family’s Christian rules by wearing more revealing clothing, drinking, and sending their children to public school.
