Italy is on a ‘Red Alert” and tourists are being warned to stay out of the sun because temperatures are so high.

Heatwave warnings have been issued for Brits heading overseas to enjoy the final rays of sunshine before winter.

Italian authorities are on red alert because of the hot temperatures that will be hitting multiple cities in coming days.

Today, a red warning was issued for Bologna and Bolzano. Also, Brescia. Florence. Frosinone. Latina. Palermo. Perugia. Rieti. Rome. Turin.
