The film was originally intended to release sometime in 2020, but due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, the timeline was moved to a year later. The makers then released the film as a world premiere during the LA Latino International Film Festival on the 4th of June, 2021.
Subsequently, the film received a theatrical release across the US on the 10th of June, 2021. Later the film was available for streaming on the platform, HBO Max where it was available for 30 days.
