A TikToker claims she won’t eat at Applebee’s because she has worked in the food business.

The ex-server, who no longer works at Applebee’s has shared her concerns with the chain with her followers.
Marque says that the food prepared at chain restaurants is not fresh.
“The cooks do an incredible job. It’s a hard job. They fry, they cook, they grill, great. But the food that they’re being sent my corporate is not quality food,”She said.
The TikToker explained. “Everything is frozen, everything is in plastic bags, which are then microwaved.”
Marque doesn’t like frozen food for one reason.
She claimed that certain dishes must be microwaved to make them ready for cooking.
“They’re forced to microwave certain things for time, because they’re not given the equipment they need,”She said.
In her video, she also spoke out about the importance of not eating at restaurants with filthy floors. However, this was not a link to Applebee’s.
“If a place can’t clean it’s floor or keep it’s booth seats clean, for example, it’s not a place that you should be eating,”She told her viewers.
Applebee is not the only chain to make claims about the freshness and quality of its food.
An Applebee’s employee claimed that the restaurant used microwaves to prepare most of the food on its menu.

“As a server, I got to see everything that happens in the kitchen but the only things that were not microwaved were the fried chicken, mozzarella stick, buffalo wings, the steaks, the grilled chicken, and the burgers,”The video shows the ex-employee speaking.
The Central Recorder reached Applebee’s for comments, but was unable to get a response at the time this article was published.
TikTok users posted their thoughts about the restaurant in Marque’s video comments.
“I just don’t understand how Applebee’s still exists,”One viewer agreed.
Another follower wrote this: “I trained at an Applebee’s and the whole kitchen line was predominantly microwaves.”
“I won’t eat anything that comes out of a microwave. I do way better than that at home,”A third person agreed.
