The stunt went horribly wrong and Jackman was left with severe bleeding while being filmed. DeSanto eventually shut down production, prompting the studio to support Singer. DeSanto was told by higher-ups to leave the set. Singer’s trailer was where the cast protested. DeSanto was told to leave, the cast departed together. Berry allegedly said to Singer that this was when DeSanto left. “You can kiss my Black a**.”
