APPLE has added a clever new feature that instantly livens up your photos.
The new iPhone 13 offers Photographic Styles – special “filter-style” camera presets that make your pictures look better.

You choose them before taking a photo, giving your images a fresh and different look.
This feature is currently only available for iPhone 13 users.
What are the iPhone 13 Photographic Styles and how do they work?
Standard comes with five Photographic Styles.
First up is Standard – the default iPhone option that should work best for most situations.
Then there’s Rich Contrast, which promises “darker shadows, richer colours and strong contrast” for a dramatic look.
Third is Vibrant Style, which offers “wonderfully bright and vivid colours” for what Apple describes as a “brilliant yet natural look”.
Fourth is Warm Style, adding golden undertones for a much warmer photo.
And fifth is the opposite of that – Cool Style – with blue undertones for a colder feel.
How do you choose Photographic Styles on iPhone 13
When you first open the Camera on your iPhone 13, you’ll be asked to choose a Photographic Style.
To get used to the normal style of photos, it’s worth sticking with Standard.
You can’t change Styles once you have taken a photograph.
You must change your settings before you take a photo to experiment with a new Style.
You have two options.
- 1. First open the Camera app and choose Photo
- 2. Then swipe up from the word Photo
- 3. Tap on the icon that looks like several squares
- 4. From there you can swipe left or right to choose a Style
Alternatively, you can go into Settings > Camera > Photographic Styles to change your chosen mode.
After selecting a Photographic Style you will see it in the top-right corner of the Camera App.
You can tap this to modify your Style at any moment.
