The teaser trailer for the sequel to Halloween’s 1993 classic was released by Disney on June 28. The trailer features three teenage girls discussing their plans for the 16th of July. As the shop owner, played by Sam RichardsonThe trio is told by. “You know, legend has it, it’s on the 16th birthday that a witch gets her powers.”
Two girls are seen reading a spell by one another, which causes a black flame candle in the ground to light up. As the Sanderson sisters appear, the ground below the girls splits, with Winifred declaring, “Lock up your children. Yes, Salem, we’re back!”
The clip ends when a man asks the sisters if there’s a stage they want.
Winifred playsfully answers. “Always.”
