Hayami Hana – the meaning of Rauw Alejandro’s song “Rosalia”

Hayami Hana - the meaning of Rauw Alejandro’s song "Rosalia"

Rauw alejandro dropped a beautiful new song, Hayami Hana. However, the lyrics reveal that this is an ode for Rosalia.

Hayami Hana, the new single from Rauw Alejandro, is set to become the next big breakup song. Taylor Swift might be the Queen of Breakup Songs, but Rauw will soon surpass her. Most artists tend to keep the identity of the song’s subject private, but not Alejandro. The Puerto Rican star has unsubtly poured out his feelings for ex-fiancee Rosalia – and the only thing missing is her name in the lyrics.

Other than that, it’s pretty obvious that he is devastated about their split as he shows admiration through the song’s title.

Hayami Hana meaning explained in Rauw Alejandro’s new Rosalia breakup song

Hayami Hana translates to “rare beauty flower” in Japanese. As a noun, Hana means “flower” or “flowers” in the East Asian language, but it can also be used as a metaphor for “beauty”.

In other words, Rauw Alejandro is clearly infatuated with Rosalia’s beauty. The word he used to describe her is believed to be a reference for the Latin name of rose.

How can we be sure that the records are about his three-year ex-fiancee?

The lyrics in verse 4 read: “And, since Los Angeles I knew, she is my MOTOMAMI. Los Angeles and Motomami are the titles of the Spanish singer’s debut and third album.

Rauw mentions earlier in the song his Afrodisaco single which includes uncredited vocals from his former girlfriend.

The five-minute-and-half release sees the 30-year-old artist – real name Raúl Alejandro Ocasio Ruiz – double down on denying the cheating rumors.

“I am a lot of things, but not a cheater,” he sings. “She always had my phone’s password, this was something beyond my control. I’m not there anymore, but I want you to know you’re stronger than you think.”

Rauw still has his Rosalia tattoo on the stomach, which was unveiled in April of 2022.

“Cause you’ve given me the best days, that’s why I have your name tattooed on my belly,” Hayami Hana lyrics read.

Rauw Alejandro’s friend spills on Rosalia breakup details

If you couldn’t tell by Hayami Hana’s lyrics, Rosalia was the person to initiate the split. They both posted the same statement to confirm their breakup on July 26, but did not divulge the exact reason.

According to Marca, Rauw Alejandro’s friend reportedly revealed to Telecinco’s Socialite program that Rosalia’s team believed Rauw was holding her back.

The exact alleged quote was that Alejandro was “taking her down a notch” as Rosalia is attempting to break into Hollywood.

“They want to turn her career around,” they continued. “They see her as a big star and feel he’s small potatoes. They see her as more Kardashian, and they feel Rauw isn’t on that level. He was a hindrance to her personal project because Rosalia was very present in her career, she consulted him on everything.”

HITC insists that Rosalia or Rauw Aljandro neither have confirmed their statements.
