A tattoo artist has left fans divided over an “amazing but awful” Simpson tattoo he came across on TikTok.
Jonarton posted a video on TikTok showing an inking of The Simpsons’ extended family member – Abraham “Grampa” Simpson – on a man’s leg.
While he didn’t state if it was from his clients, he commented: “This tattoo is simultaneously amazing and awful!
“Why won’t people ask me to do tattoos like this?”
The colourful inking features Grampa wearing a blue uniform with a brown belt across – one of the famous rants the character has featured in the 1993 episode “Last Exit from Springfield

The quote included Grampa rattling on about wearing onions on his belt.
It reads: “We can’t bust heads like we used to-but we have our ways.
“One trick is to tell them stories that don’t go anywhere like the time I caught the ferry over to Shelbyville.
“I needed a new heel for my shoe, so I decided to go to Morganville which is what they called Shelbyville in those days.
“The style of the day was to tie an onion to my belt. The ferry ride cost me a nickel.

“And in those days, nickels had pictures of bumblebees on ’em. ‘Give me five bees for a quarter,’ you’d say.
“Now, where were we? Yes!
“The important thing was that I had an onion on my belt which was the style at the time.
“The war meant they didn’t have any white onions.
“The only thing you could get was those big yellow ones.”

The quote was tattooed in a long, loopy ribbon-like scroll. Viewers quickly criticized the poor painting and colouring.
One said: “This is the best thing I’ve ever seen. How long is his leg?”
Another noted: “This missing colour, shoddy linework and misspelled words.”
“But why are the words going to the wrong way? Help,” a third added.
