GOOGLE is finally getting a dark mode that will put an end to the website’s blinding white design.
It can be very difficult to use the search engine at night or early in the morning.

Now Google has vowed to follow the lead of countless other apps and websites to introduce a dark mode.
Users who wanted to use a dark Google previously had to download third-party software.
Google has now announced that an official Dark Mode will be available starting today.
It will soon be available on all devices.
“I’m thrilled to announce that starting today and fully rolling out over the next few weeks, Dark theme is now available for Google Search pages on desktop,” a Google product manager explained.
“Search pages include Google’s homepage, search results page and Search settings.
“Thanks again for letting us know this was a feature you wanted to see on Google Search!”
How do you find it?
Enter Settings on the Google search page.
It could be a text link at bottom or a cog-wheel at top right.
Next, select Search Settings, then click Appearance.
You can choose between Device Default and Dark.
Device Default will match the current colour scheme.
Dark will always stick to a dark background.
These settings may not be available to you.
It is possible that the new feature has not yet been released to your device.
You may have these settings activated already, so the change could happen automatically when it rolls out to you device.
