Prince Harry ‘not at same level’ as Meghan Markle in ‘very woke’ Time cover, expert says

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle received a torrent of criticism on their new photoshoot for Time 100 and one expert said it looked “very weird and woke”.

After being selected to be among the 100 most influential people, the Duke of Sussex and Duchess covered the current issue of Time magazine.

The cover photo features Meghan in a white power suit, beaming with joy, while Harry is wearing a contrast black outfit and placing his hands on his wife.

Royal author and ABC royal contributor Robert Jobson shared his honest opinion and said it’s “one of the weirdest” photographs he’s ever seen.

Appearing on GB News, host Nana Kua asked the expert: “How has that (the reception of Time 100 cover) gone down in the States?

“I know on this side of the water, we are not that impressed.”

Robert said: “They are more loved in America. A large number of people support Meghan. However, it has not been well received here.”

“Time used to be a very serious publication.

“But when you have Dolly Parton and Britney Spears in the top 100 as well, I’m surprised you and I haven’t made it.”

The pair let slip a laughter on air before he continued: “Basically they wanted to sell the magazine and Meghan and Harry agreed to a very expensive photoshoot, which I must say includes one of the weirdest photographs I’ve seen in a while.

“People are maybe a little cruelly calling Harry her hairdresser, that he is not at the same level as her.

“It’s all very woke, isn’t it? At the end of it all, Time got what they wanted: them on the cover.”

Body language expert Judi James analysed the power couple’s stance and said the balance is “weighting in Meghan’s favour” while Harry “follows”.
