However, Ani’s meticulously crafted life is turned on its head when she is asked to give an interview for a true-crime documentary that tells the story of a shocking incident which took place when she was a teenager, bringing a whole raft of dark secrets bubbling up to the surface.

Who was responsible for the score?

Luckiest Girl Alive includes a number of licensed songs. Linda Perry also composed the original score.

Perry also wrote the song I Know Where I’ve Been which is performed by Elle King and features during the film’s end credits.

Born in Massachusetts, the musician was involved with music from a young age. She performed as a solo artist for many years before moving to film music.

Linda has released three solo albums and has worked as a producer/songwriter on many singles for other artists, including Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande, to name a few.

Perry began her career in scoring music for TV and film in 2020. However, Perry has been a notable contributor to many documentaries, including Citizen Penn and Kid 90. She also appeared in the series Punky Brewster, Lucky Girl Alive, and To Leslie.

To coincide with the release of Luckiest Girl Alive, Linda Perry’s guitar-heavy rock-inspired score, which also features some tense and menacing undertones, has been made available on music streaming sites such as Spotify and Apple Music.
