Warner Bros. has been reorganized since the Warner Bros. HBO Max subscribers have experienced a significant wave of cancellations since the Warner Bros. acquisition. There has been a number of TV and movie projects that were being cancelled at an alarming rate. Ellen DeGeneres, former host of the talk show, saw one series put on the block. So, which of DeGeneres’ HBO Max shows failed to escape the streamer’s continuing wave of canceled projects?
According to DeadlineThe animated preschool series Little EllenShe will not be returning for a second season. This move from the streaming service marked Ellen DeGeneres’ second series to end in 2022, as her self-titled talk show concluded with its 19th season earlier this year. Similar to what happened with other HBO Max cancellations. Little EllenIt had been in production for its latest season but will not receive a premiere from Warner Bros. Discovery platforms.

Holiday HauntBoth projects are currently in the middle or post-production. WBD issued a statement in response to the backlash. Multiple TV and film projects were cancelled (including the House Party reboot) hasn’t been the only change for the streaming platform, as some exclusive movies were removed without any announcement or fanfare. As Discovery+ and HBO Max are both rumored to be planning to merge, the disappearance HBO Max content may signal that bigger changes are on their horizon.
