Pleasure Beach Resort, formerly known as one of the most famous coastal theme parks in the UK, has rebranded to better reflect its vast offerings. Established in 1896, this attraction boasts more miles of coaster track than any other theme park in the UK.

Visitors can experience thrill rides, fairground attractions, two hotels, a theatre, ice arena, golf course, and more. The park features Nickelodeon Land with 12 themed rides based on famous characters from the children’s channel. Notable attractions include the Avatar Airbender coaster, The Big One – the UK’s tallest ride, and Icon – the UK’s only double-launch coaster.
What to Expect at Adventure Island, Southend-on-Sea
Adventure Island in Southend-on-Sea, entertaining holidaymakers for over a century, offers more than 40 rides and attractions, cafes, restaurants, side shows, and arcades. The Time Machine ride has been revamped with all-new theming, and a new 38-meter drop tower coaster is on the way.

Fantasy Island near the beach offers rides in its Discovery and Adventure lands, along with entertainment for young visitors in Little Explorer. In 2024, their Spinning Coaster ride will be revamped as Spinning Mouse XXL with additional drops. Brave guests can also try The Odyssey and The Millennium, along with go-karts, bowling, adventure golf, and live performances.

Dreamland, one of the UK’s original theme parks dating back to the early 1870s, is thriving in the popular town of Margate. With vintage-inspired amusements, delectable street food, and live music, Dreamland offers a unique experience. Notable attractions include the wooden Scenic Railway, Pirate Ship, Noah’s Ark, and Cups and Saucers rides for kids. A new Rock ‘n’ Roller coaster, crazy golf course, and the Margate Express train ride were added last year.
