It is fair to say that in both of her biggest Marvel Cinematic Universe movies as Wanda Maximoff, or Scarlet Witch (or Wanda Maximoff), the mother was absolutely correct.Mothering. Wanda, her husband Vision, and their twins are the main characters of “WandaVision.” But when Wanda discovers that her sleepy New Jersey town, where her and her family live, is really a fantasy in which she holds a lot of people as hostages, she must let go. Vision, her sons and the rest of the family disappear into the multiverse. By the time Wanda makes an appearance in “Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness,” it seems she has found (a slightly demented) a solution.
Wanda’s mission is to find her twins, and to be reunited, by manipulating the multiverse, space, and time. She will stop at nothing to accomplish this. Doctor Strange and America Chavez must work together to defeat her. And it seems like Wanda will be dead at the end of the movie…or at least in one alternate multiverse. Mother Olsen will return in the MCU.
