He also won the 2005 gold medal at the IIHF World Junior Championship. This was the same league in which he had competed in the previous year.
Phaneuf’s almost two-decade long career has earned him an enormous fortune. He was awarded $39 million in 2008 for his deal. Cuthbert has helped him to purchase a vacation home as well as an exercise center.
