A HIGH-END interior design pro has given her take on decor from Target.

Meet Maggie Williams – The High-End Residential Designer
Exploring Target Home Decor with Maggie
Maggie Williams (@maggiexwilliams) filmed herself at Target in a video on TikTok, calling it, “smash or pass — Target home edition.”
“I work in high-end residential interior design, and I’m in the Target home section right now,” she said.
“There’s some really good stuff. There’s also some terrible stuff,” she added.
Do’s and Don’ts of Target Home Decor
She skipped past the fake flowers, saying they will bring down the overall appearance of the home.
“It’s all really cheap looking and plasticky, and it’s not gonna elevate your home at all,” she said.
“I would recommend getting on Etsy and ordering some dried florals if you want that effect,” she added.
She shared her “only exception” for her fake flower ban — faux orchids.
“I own this. It’s in my kitchen, and I think it’s beautiful and it’s pretty real looking,” she said.
Spotting Expensive-Looking Pieces
She also pointed out an expensive-looking item that caught her eye.
“Never seen this frame before, but I am loving the detailing,” she said.
“Up close it looks really high end and expensive.”
“It is a great size for an eight-by-10 in like a bathroom or something. Absolutely love their frames. You cannot go wrong here.”
Viewer Reactions to Maggie’s Tips
The video drew in many viewers who shared their thoughts on the tips in the comment section.
“I actually agree. I’ve always said their greenery is tacky. It has a cheap appearance and just looks like shiny plastic,” one wrote.
