Craig Melvin has confirmed that TODAY’s Dylan Dreyer is missing.
Craig thanked the viewers who joined him on Thursday’s morning show for their presence.
Craig started the new episode of Today 3rd Hour with “Good morning and welcome to Today 3rd Hour on this fri-yay night.”
Sheinelle Roker and Al Roker joined him.
He continued, “Dylan is enjoying a well-deserved break.”
Craig didn’t confirm a date for Dylan’s return.
Tomorrow is Friday, so it’s possible she will be away until the following week.
If she has been given time off from her show, the anchor may take the weekend.
Her family is likely to have continued spending time together.
Not Today!
Dylan also threw notes in Al Roker’s direction after Al Roker criticized her husband Brian Fichera.

Dylan, age 42, took offence after Al (age 69) made a crude joke during Wednesday’s Third Hour.
It all kicked off when Today’s newest entertainment correspondent Chloe Melas brought her husband Brian and their son onto the studio.
Brian showed off his muscular body in tight trousers and a shirt.
Al could not resist comparing Chloe and Dylan’s partner.
He replied: “You’re right, your Brian is different from Chloe and Brian’s Brian…
“The same body type!”
Dylan grinned with a straining smile, and she threw a stack of documents across the table at Al who was sitting two seats back.
Sheinelle Jones and Craig Melvin who were sitting directly between the co-hosts were shocked. They jumped out of their way.
Al laughed as Chloe said that her husband was “actually” a runner.
Dylan asked Al: Did that paper cut you?” You were supposed to be paper-cut by that!
Al laughed and said he felt fine.
Craig was shocked at the explosive response of Dylan.
It was the first time that Today had done this! He said. “I don’t think I’ve ever seen Dylan throw something…”
Dylan laughed, and said “A pile of paper!”
Brian, a producer at Today and a meteorologist on Today, married in 2012.
They have three children together – Calvin, six, Oliver, three, and Russell, one.
ITALIAN GETAWAY
Dylan took time off work at the end of July to go on vacation to Sicily, Italy, with her family.
Dylan posted several photos of his family enjoying Sicily and eating.
“Who needs luggage when you’ve got your family?? Sicily’s extreme heat and lost luggage made us laugh! It was a great trip!” She captionedPost by.
She revealed several days earlier that they had lost their luggage.
Dylan uploaded a picture of her with her family, sitting together on a park bench and smiling to the camera.
“Family vacation! “We didn’t realize that these clothes would cover the entire trip as our luggage was lost in Amsterdam.” She wrote next to it.
“We’re not in Amsterdam. All that work packing…”
