While the early Halloween season began in September and continues through October, Netflix offers a huge selection of festive and scary TV shows and movies. “Scooby Doo” “Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed”The first day of October will be available immediately. Friday, October 7th is a major day for releases. This day will see the arrival of the third season. “Derry Girls,” “Luckies Girl Alive” adapted from Jessica Knolle’s best-selling novel and a new YA spin on ghost stories, “The Midnight Club.”
More book adaptations to keep your eye on for October’s Netflix arrivals include “The School for Good and Evil,”Out Oct. 19, and based upon the best-selling series of Soman Chainani. You can find a heartwarming and touching dose of true love as well as real life in the “From Scratch” series, based on the memoir of the same name by Tembi Locke, selected as a Reese’s Book Club pick in 2019.
